I can't tell you how many people have said "your not submitting much visual art lately..."
This has been in the basement for about 3 weeks now.
I finally got around to attempting it..good thing i did.
youll notice the peice doesn't flow aestheticly, please look beyond that...in each panel of the image there is a link to the one previous...and i wont tell you where to start.
The size fo the actuall peice has significant meaning, as does the size of every panel "there are seven" the symbolism in this is as basic as i could get without comprimising the image.
To help you, yes that is a lock and key system,
no that is not someone ripping open their anus..its a chest,
yes the pieces dont flow together for a reason, so your eyes can break from it and focus...its like a book...i tried flowing them alol together and it distracted away from the idea.
Yes i used my own stock.
No i did not use any brushes...this is 100% my work, wanna dispute it go ahead, ill send you the *.psd via e-mail.
If you actually sit down and understand this peice..congratulations, your ass must be sore.
I threw a hell of alot into this, and spent most of a day doing it,
and the following people need to be thanked.
Val, for listening to me ramble about the signifigance of the numbers.
Lyn, for keeping me from overthinking and going insane during the porcess.
pizza hut corporate, for giving me the idea of the 3rd left panel.
Ra, for everything.
uhm yes it does look like an anus being ripped open lol
but yeah, definately one that needs to be thought about for a bit. very interesting work, though. my first impression is that it's about a bad schroom trip forcing open your third eye lol. each panel does flow together very well.
-- make me sad. make me mad. make me feel alright?
It does look like an anus, thats what i thought it was, really nice peice though, your rather strange looking more then i remember anyway.
dude if i go to jail on wednesday you have to come back to nz and see me.
I like the quirkiness in this. The tone chosen is perfect. Fits the 'mathematic' theme.
That eye scared me at first, before I actually realized what it really is.
I really like the method you chose to decipher the meaning of 'magic' in this really scientific way.
It's somehow disheartening, and troubling.
At least that's the way I see it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
